Make email better

Email is boring. And it's ancient. Despite that, most of us interact with email multiple times per day.

Existing email app options broadly fall into these categories:

Legacy – functional, but lacks modern features, looks terrible, not cross-platform.
Questionable business model – apps that are great, but... sell your data.
Expensive – a handful of email apps are genuinely fantastic, but the cost is out of reach unless your employer is paying your way.

Behind Marco is a duo of long-time friends, Tim and Isaac. We've both been working in software engineering for many years and have grown frustrated with the lack of a proper email client/experience. We've tried them all.

We're building Marco to provide an exceptionally fast, cross-platform, cross-provider, sensible, and beautiful email client for the masses.

We've assembled a small team and are running an honest, bootstrapped business.

Isaac Hinman

Co-Founder

Isaac has worked in startups and enterprises all over the world. He's made notable contributions to open-source software, including NextJs, i18next, and React Native, and has co-founded/CTO'd several startups – most recently a VC-backed fintech called Sway.

Tim Lonsdale

Co-Founder

Tim is a born-and-bred Londoner who graduated with a Computer Science degree from Cambridge. He has since worked across a diverse range of positions, including Quantitative Analyst at Goldman Sachs and CTO at Messly – which was recently sold for 8 figures
