What email providers does Marco support?

Marco works with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, iCloud Mail, and any provider that supports IMAP. Connect all your accounts and manage them from a single inbox.

How does offline access work?

Marco syncs your emails locally to your device. You can read, search, compose, and organize emails without an internet connection. Changes sync automatically when you reconnect.

Yes. Marco is free forever, with no credit card required.

How does Marco protect my privacy?

Marco never scans your emails for advertising. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We have no access to your email content and never sell your information to third parties.

Does Marco use AI to write my emails?

No. Marco does not generate, rewrite, summarize, or reply to email with AI. We believe email should remain a conversation between people.

Which platforms are supported?

Marco is available on macOS and iOS as native apps, with a web version for access from any browser. Windows and Android are on our roadmap.

Do I need a payment method?

How to Turn Off Superhuman AI

The short answer

On desktop, press Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows and choose Deactivate Superhuman AI. If you only see Activate Superhuman AI, it is already off.

Turn off Superhuman AI on desktop

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to open Superhuman Command.
Type Superhuman AI.
Choose Deactivate Superhuman AI.

Turn off Superhuman AI on iPhone

Pull down from the top of the inbox, then swipe right to open Superhuman Command.
Type Superhuman AI.
Choose Deactivate Superhuman AI.

Superhuman's help centre says Android users need to turn Superhuman AI on from desktop, so manage the setting from the desktop app if you are on Android.

What Superhuman stores while AI is on

Superhuman publishes how it handles AI data:

With Ask AI enabled, Superhuman stores your emails with a SOC 2 compliant third-party vendor, encrypted in transit and at rest.
For Instant Reply and Auto Summarize, it stores queries and responses for 90 days.
For Write with AI, it does not store queries or responses.
Ask AI queries and responses are stored to improve quality and for debugging.
Superhuman says neither it nor any vendor trains on your data, and you can ask for your data to be deleted by emailing [email protected].

If you want an inbox with no AI at all

Settings reduce what an email app does with your mail, but the features ship switched on and new ones arrive with updates. Marco is an email client that does not generate, rewrite, summarise, or reply to email with AI. It works with Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, and any IMAP provider, so you keep your address and leave the AI layer behind.
