What email providers does Marco support?

Marco works with Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, iCloud Mail, and any provider that supports IMAP. Connect all your accounts and manage them from a single inbox.

How does offline access work?

Marco syncs your emails locally to your device. You can read, search, compose, and organize emails without an internet connection. Changes sync automatically when you reconnect.

How does Marco protect my privacy?

Marco never scans your emails for advertising. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We have no access to your email content and never sell your information to third parties.

Does Marco use AI to write my emails?

No. Marco does not generate, rewrite, summarize, or reply to email with AI. We believe email should remain a conversation between people.

Which platforms are supported?

Marco is available on macOS and iOS as native apps, with a web version for access from any browser. Windows and Android are on our roadmap.

How to Turn Off AI in Spark Mail

The short answer

Open Spark Settings, go to Spark +AI, and turn the toggle off. Do it on every device you use, because Spark says its +AI settings are not synced across devices.

What Spark +AI does

Spark +AI is Spark's set of AI tools, available on paid plans and during the trial. Spark's help page says it uses an Azure OpenAI integration. Its features include:

Generating emails and replies
Summarising long emails and threads
Quick replies
Rephrasing, expanding, shortening, and changing the tone of your text
My Writing Style, which drafts in a style matched to yours
Translating received and composed emails
Meeting notes and an AI Assistant

Turn off Spark +AI on Mac and Windows

Open Spark Settings.
Click Spark +AI.
Turn off the toggle.

Turn off Spark +AI on iPhone and Android

Tap the menu icon at the top left.
Open Settings > Spark +AI.
Turn off Enable Spark +AI.

Turn off individual features

If you want to keep some features, the same Spark +AI settings on desktop have separate toggles for Quick +AI Replies and Translate emails.

Check every device

Spark +AI is off by default, so if you never turned it on, you may already be set. Because the setting does not sync, turning it off on your Mac leaves it as it was on your phone. Check each device you use Spark on.

If you want an inbox with no AI at all

Spark keeps +AI off until you turn it on, but it stays one toggle away on every device, and new AI features arrive with updates. Marco is an email client that does not generate, rewrite, summarise, or reply to email with AI. It works with Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo, and any IMAP provider, so you keep your address and leave the AI layer behind.
